Prepare this easy recipe for Spring Rolls, one of the most representative dishes of Chinese cuisine.   • 300 grams flour, for the won ton dough

  • 1 teaspoon salt, for the won ton dough

  • 2 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons ginger, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups white cabbage, cut into strips
  • 1 cup carrot, cut into strips
  • 1/4 cups green onion, stems, chopped
  • 1 cup zucchini, cut into thin strips
  • 1/4 cups soy sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten, for glazing
  • vegetable oil, for frying
  • sweet chili sauce, for serving

  • For the won ton dough, place the flour, eggs, salt, water in the mixer and beat until combined to obtain a homogeneous dough. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  • On a wooden board, roll out the dough with enough cornstarch until you get a thickness of 1 mm and cut squares of 12 x 12 cm. Set aside.
  • Heat a pan over medium heat with sesame oil, cook the garlic, ginger, cabbage, carrot, green onion tops, and zucchini for 1 minute. Add the soy sauce, cook for 1 more minute, and remove. Let cool.
  • Form the rolls by placing a little of the vegetable filling in one corner of each won ton sheet. Close to form the roll, glazing the edges with egg.
  • Heat the oil over medium heat, fry the rolls until they are crispy and golden. Drain on paper towels.
  • Serve the rolls on a lettuce leaf and accompany with sweet chili sauce.
