Black Bean Soup

Black beans are typical of Mexican food, especially from the Veracruz region. A bean soup is an ideal starter to start a meal.

  • 2 tomatoes, medium
  • 1/2 onions
  • 1 clove garlic, guy
  • 3 tablespoons corn oil
  • 2 tablespoons chicken bullion
  • 3 cups black beans, Cooked
  • 6 cups broth where the beans were cooked
  • pepper, to taste
  • panela cheese, diced (to serve)

  • Blend the tomatoes, onion and garlic. Strain and sauté with the corn oil until well seasoned. Add the ground beans with their broth, the powdered chicken broth and salt to taste.
  • Let it simmer for 10 minutes and serve accompanied by the panela cheese squares.
