Easy Bean Cream

Recipe for easy bean cream made with chicken broth and a touch of ancho chili that gives it a delicious flavor.

  • 1 tablespoon corn oil
  • 1 ancho chile, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 3 cups beans, black, cooked and mashed
  • 1 cup chicken broth, degreased
  • sour cream, to taste
  • panela cheese, cut into cubes

  • In a pan, heat the oil and fry the chili without burning it; set aside.
  • In the same oil, sauté the onion and garlic, add the beans, the chicken broth, and let it boil; if the mixture is too thick, add a little more broth.
  • Serve with the ancho chili sliced, a bit of cream, and panela cheese.
