Stewed Lentils

Lentil soup is super nutritious and delicious. In this recipe, the lentils are prepared with white wine and Serrano ham.

  • 500 grams lentils
  • 200 grams serrano ham, chopped
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cups dry white wine
  • 2 leaves bay
  • 2 teaspoons pimentón
  • 2 cloves garlic

  • Cook the lentils in the pressure cooker with water, garlic, and bay leaf until soft, about 20 minutes.
  • In a separate pan, heat the oil and sauté the onion, add the tomatoes, and cook for 5 minutes. Add the wine and paprika.
  • Add this vegetable mixture to the lentils and boil for a few minutes, season with salt to taste, and remove the bay leaves.
