It's typical that on the weekend I overindulge in food and the next day I feel bloated, heavy, and above all filled with guilt, haha, that's why I decided to do a detox that is really good. The best part of this diet is that it only lasts one day, so it doesn't represent much sacrifice and you can definitely do it. What you need to do is spend an entire day eating only one type of fruit (it’s very important that you don’t mix more than one). Choose the fruit you like the most, that is fresh and in season. The first time I did this diet I chose strawberries, and the second time I went for pineapples. I recommend that you eat the fruit raw because if you cook it, it may lose its properties and the detox won’t be effective. Also, drink plenty of water between fruits; this will make you feel full and less hungry. Here are the properties of the fruits I recommend for this type of diet: Strawberries: They are purifying, help you lose volume, and reduce bloating. They have antioxidants that will also make your skin look much nicer and with a natural glow. Pineapples: They help you lose volume and make you feel light due to the bromelain they contain. Apples: They hydrate the body, reduce hypertension, and help eliminate toxins. They also make you feel satisfied. Pears: They help detoxify your body and have a low-calorie index.
