1. Consult a nutritionist

When you decide to make such a drastic change as stopping eating meat, it is important that you have the guidance of an expert to ensure that your body receives the necessary nutrients.

2. Make gradual adjustments

Start by stopping eating meat one day a week, then increase to two days, and so on. Like all lifestyle changes, you need to give your body enough time to adjust.

3. Reinvent your favorite dishes

If you love hamburgers, consider replacing the meat with a portobello or soy. Remember that often the flavor of a dish does not depend on a particular ingredient, but on how you mix it.

4. Learn to season

To enhance the flavor of your dishes, expand your repertoire of spices: rosemary, cardamom, parsley, cloves, etc.

5. Expand your ingredient list

Take the time to leisurely stroll through the fruit and vegetable section and discover what new ingredients you can add to your dishes.  

It was not easy to stack these sandwiches 😂 Marinated tempeh and salad 😌 The marinade recipe is from the Oh She Glows Cookbook, and is super easy with balsamic vinegar, soy sauce or tamari, rice malt syrup, olive oil and garlic. It's one of my favourite ways to eat tempeh, and it's even better cold the next day. I make a batch then keep it on the fridge and add it to whatever I'm eating.
