The worst ingredients to eat at night

When we sleep, we deserve our rest, and it is not fair for all the effort we put in during the day to be ruined or even lose our sleep by having things we shouldn't for dinner. Today we will discuss which ingredients to avoid at night and how you can replace them with something that won't cause you to accumulate calories and will allow you to rest as you deserve.

Bacon

This or any other greasy ingredient can cause the same havoc. Fat produces and stimulates acid in the stomach, which can lead to anything from heartburn to nausea, not to mention other stomach discomforts. When sleeping, it's better to keep it light and forget about cheeseburgers with bacon.

Wine

This is bad news because who doesn’t enjoy a nice glass of wine during dinner? Any type of alcohol before sleeping will cause you to wake up several times during the night, but wine in particular has so much sugar that it will also be stored in your body without being completely metabolized, which translates to unnecessary fat for your body.

Coffee

It might seem obvious, but it’s worth mentioning that both coffee and tea contain high amounts of caffeine, which is a nervous stimulant that will keep you awake for several hours. If you don’t like decaf, it’s no problem; the recommendation is simply not to drink regular coffee after six in the evening, and you won't have a problem.

Dark chocolate

Chocolate is a double whammy; not only does it contain calories that will settle in your body overnight, but it also has quite a bit of caffeine. This makes it a double threat that will leave you sleepless and completely ruin your diet. It’s better to eat chocolate early in the morning to give you energy and good mood for the rest of the day.

Curry

Curry is just one example, but any dish that contains too many spices, like Indian specialties or a rich mole, will guarantee you a night of an inflamed stomach and heartburn. Additionally, many of these sauces contain sugar, which also doesn't go well with your dietary regimen. Now, there are also ingredients that help you preserve sleep and keep you calm during the night. Here we list them with a delicious recipe for each:   Cherries Milk Jasmine rice Banana Sweet potato
