ActitudFem presents the worst foods for your skin. So if you want to look more radiant, I suggest you stay away from red meat, cheeses, milk, and these foods:
- Blue cheese. The fatty acids it contains enter the bloodstream, causing acne and inflammation.
- Watermelon and dates. They are quickly absorbed into the bloodstream, increasing acne problems due to the hormonal fluctuations they trigger.
- Dairy milk causes or worsens acne due to the hormones it contains, as revealed by a study from Harvard University in 2007.
- Cereals. They contain 37% sugar. 15% sugar is already considered a high intake, so moderate your consumption.
- Red meat. Some experts believe that red meat is bad for the skin because it increases testosterone levels in the body.
- Alcohol. Double trouble because it contains large amounts of sugar. Experts believe that large amounts of alcohol in the body can cause psoriasis on the skin.
