The Lent is an important celebration around the world, and countries like Brazil celebrate it in a big way. In fact, the famous Carnival takes place forty days before Easter, thus marking the beginning of Lent. That’s why you should know how it is celebrated and what the best Lent dishes in Brazil are.

While Carnival is a festival full of colors, rhythms, and dancing, which is not necessarily related to Christianity, it paves the way for the start of Lent and brings some of the best Brazilian flavors that you can try, as we show you below with these meatless dishes.



Moqueca
