Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 Cups of Flour
  • 3 Tablespoons of Cocoa
  • 1 Teaspoon of Baking Soda
  • 1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder (Royal)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 1 1/2 Cups of Sugar
  • 6 Tablespoons of Unsalted Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 1/4 Cups of Milk with a few drops of lemon
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon of White Vinegar
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Tablespoons of Red Food Coloring
  • 5 Tablespoons of Butter (for the cream cheese frosting)
  • 4 Teaspoons of Milk with a few drops of lemon (for the cream cheese frosting)
  • 1 Package of 8 ounces Cream Cheese (for the cream cheese frosting)
  • 3 1/2 Cups of Powdered Sugar (for the cream cheese frosting)
  • 1 1/4 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract (for the cream cheese frosting)
