How exciting and how scary!… every day we get older, but it's part of life. That's why I started looking for things you should do before turning 35 and found some super interesting things that I want to share with you.

What I did was print this list and carry it in my wallet as a kind of bucket list:

 1. Decide on Wednesday which city to visit on Friday by buying a non-refundable promotional plane ticket.

2. You need to eliminate the slangs you picked up during your twenties like "you know?" or "no way"; they really don’t do you any favors.

 3. Make a tangible photo album… we don’t know how long Facebook will last or if your computer’s hard drive will crash, and you surely don’t want to lose all those photos of the most incredible moments of your life.

 4. Take your boyfriend to a cheap motel. When you turn 35, you won't tolerate low-quality sheets… if you haven't already.

 5. Start thinking about your retirement and your future, research how government plans work for this.

 6. Are you single? Then you should have a one night stand; you’ll regret not having one later.

 7. Go out to dinner alone. Sit at the bar, bring a book, and enjoy without checking your phone every minute.

 8. Host your first Cocktail Party, where the dress code is Little Black Dress.

 9. If you haven’t dared to go on a blind date, don’t think about it anymore; it’s just a matter of daring… you never know where you’ll meet the love of your life.

 10. Find a motivation or a hobby; it makes you more interesting.

 11. Buy a piece of jewelry that signifies what you have achieved so far, jewelry that you can always wear, and every time you look at it, you remember everything you’ve accomplished.

 12. You know what type of wine is your favorite. Now ask an expert why you like it, so you can describe the flavor, body, and acidity of your preference.

 13. Stop wearing clothes that don’t suit you just because they are in fashion. Start wearing clothes that are truly you.

 14. Ask for a raise when you’ve earned it. It’s exciting, makes your heart race, and is essential for your career advancement.

 15. Buy an obscene e-book or anything else, before you feel embarrassed to buy it. You are a woman with needs. Treat yourself!
