Profeco reveals which is the best coffee

If you are one of those people who enjoy a good cup of coffee in the mornings, you won't want to miss the list of the best coffee brands according to Profeco. Take note!

The best coffees according to Profeco 

Not all coffees are the same and Profeco knows it. This month, it revealed which are the best coffee brands on the market. Which one is your favorite?

The best rated

Blasón 
The price for 100 grams is $38 pesos and this coffee has all the information required by the authorities. 

Café Garat 
100 grams of this coffee cost $37 pesos and it has the commercial information.

Café Garat Luxury 
The 2 varieties of this coffee are well rated by Profeco and are priced between $89 and $92 pesos.  

Café La Finca
This brand meets the parameters of NMX-F-013-SCFI-2020 and is priced at $39 pesos per 100 grams.

Café Leyenda 
This medium roast coffee is priced at $29 pesos per 100 grams. 

Cafiver 
The coffee comes roasted and ground. Its price is $42 pesos per 100 grams. 

El Marino 
100 grams of this coffee cost $37 pesos and it is already roasted and ground.

El Marino Artesanal 
It has the necessary commercial information, but it is one of the most expensive, as 100 grams of this coffee cost $87 pesos.  

Extra Special A Passion For Quality 
This coffee from Veracruz costs around $49 pesos per 100 grams and has the information required by the authorities.

Gila Café
This is a premium and gourmet dark roast coffee priced at $44 pesos per 100 grams.

Internacional 
This product is ground for making American coffee and costs $29 pesos per 100-gram portion.

La Parroquía de Veracruz 
The traditional blend version is priced at $42 pesos per 100-gram portion. The grain comes roasted and ground.  

Nescafé Taster’s Choice 
This roasted and ground coffee is also among the most expensive, as it costs $61 per 100 grams.  

Precíssimo 
Roasted and ground coffee priced at $32 pesos per 100 grams.

As for decaffeinated coffees, the best rated are:
  • Blasón 
  • Café Garat
  • Illy
  • Internacional
  • Precíssimo 
Profeco also evaluated mixed coffee brands and the ones that scored the best are: 
  • Legal grain coffee, in its caramel and caramel and cinnamon versions
