The analysis showed that some brands do not fulfill what they promise, so here we explain which are the best brands of

After conducting a quality study, Profeco found that these pork cheeses are among the best in the market.
100 grams of this pork cheese costs $21 pesos. Its fat content is among the lowest and meets sanitary quality requirements.
It has a lower fat content compared to other brands and has no seals or labels. 100 grams of pork cheese costs $27 pesos.
This pork cheese is among those with the lowest fat content, although it has a high percentage of sodium. 100 grams of the processed meat costs $14 pesos.
It has the lowest fat percentage, but has two seals: excess sodium and excess saturated fats. However, it is one of the most expensive, as 100 grams cost $76 pesos.
The price of this pork cheese is $25 pesos per 100 grams. Although the sodium content is high, the fat content is among the lowest. It meets sanitary quality requirements.
In a
press release, Profeco added that “it was found that the product Parma Campestre is not truthful about its protein and fat content, as it declared 25% protein and contains 16.6%, and for the latter, it claims to have 17% and contains 24.8%.” It also mentioned that “pork cheese PAR claims to have 20% fat, but contains 27.4%.”
The good news is that all 10 products met aspects such as:
- Sanitary quality
- Net content
- Maximum nitrite content
- Sodium content
However, it should also be noted that:
- 2 out of 10 products did not comply with the fat declaration of the product.
- 1 out of 10 products did not comply with its protein declaration.
