Tips for Keeping Your Pantry Organized

You don't need a lot of space in your pantry to keep it organized. With small changes and these tips, you can optimize your items and have a simple and organized kitchen.

Start by Sorting
The first thing you need to do is take everything out and sort the items: what is still good, what is expired, what does not belong in the pantry, and once you have what you really need, start categorizing and reorganizing.

Categorize by Similar Items
Classify into categories such as baking items, dinners, snacks, or in the most intuitive way that you develop, because the point of this step is to have everything within reach as you use it.

Keep Daily Use Products at Eye Level
When you put all the products back in the pantry, try to place the items you use most frequently for cooking in accessible positions and at eye level. For example, this is a great spot for things like oils and seasonings.

Conversely, if you bake occasionally, place everything you use for that further back or not as easily accessible.

Use Pull-Out Containers or Organizers
Some storage accessories can help you stop losing items at the back of the pantry. The best options are clear plastic or glass containers or wire baskets that match the depth of your pantry shelves, ensuring visibility of everything.

Put Individual Products in Containers
For example, tea bags or sweetener packets can be better organized if you group them in a single container, but this tip only works if you will truly keep them filled and restocked. If they are items you don't buy frequently, you won't need them.

Label Containers and Shelves
Labeling containers or shelves with permanent markers or tape will make it much easier to find everything, and additionally, labels will help you keep everything organized.
