This delicious bread is ideal for the cold days of Autumn and to take advantage of the pumpkins after celebrating Halloween. It is very rich smeared with butter or cream cheese.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cups vegetal oil
  • 2 eggs, milkshakes
  • 1/4 cups Water
  • 1/4 teaspoons nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoons whole clove, ground
  • 1/4 teaspoons black pepper, allspice (allspice)
  • 1/2 cups walnut, chopped

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350 ° F.
Grease a bread pan. Sift flour, salt, sugar and baking soda together. In a separate bowl, combine the pumpkin, oil, water, eggs and spices. Incorporate with the dry ingredients and mix until everything is well combined without mixing, with enveloping movements. Add the chopped nuts.
Pour into bread pan and bake for 50-60 mins. or until when you insert a toothpick it comes out dry. Unmold the bread and allow it to cool. It stays in the fridge well covered.

TIPS

You can incorporate raisins and nuts into the dough.
