Sweet sandwiches with a touch of cinnamon to accompany with tea or coffee.

Ingredients

20 portions
  • 1/2 kilos flour tortilla
  • 1 cone piloncillo
  • 5 milliliters artificial food flavor, vanilla
  • 1 twig cinnamon
  • 1/4 cups raw sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
  • enough vegetal oil
  • 1/2 liters Water

Preparation

In a pot, empty 1/2 liter of water, the cinnamon stick and the cone of piloncillo, stir until the piloncillo dissolves and take the consistency of honey; Remove from heat and add vanilla flavoring. Let cool.
With the 1/2 kg of dough should be kneaded perfectly so that I was uniform, and stir with honey to knead again with your hands and achieve a compact and manageable consistency.
Form balls and crush them so they do not remain thick and can be cooked perfectly.
In a saucepan with very hot oil fry the dough coins, remove them and place them on absorbent paper towels once they are cooked and browned
In a dish mix the mashed sugar with the cinnamon powder and roll the cooked coins to cover it.
