Prepare this recipe with homemade carrot cake, but made hot cakes, with a unique flavor and consistency; In addition, they are made with Domino® Muscovado Sugar, made from 100% sugar cane and without refining processes.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons raw sugar, Domino®
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1/2 cups carrot, grated
  • 1/2 cups walnut, finely chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, for icing
  • 2 tablespoons milk, for icing
  • 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract, for icing
  • 1/4 cups raw sugar, Domino®
  • enough butter
  • enough walnut, to decorate
  • enough carrot, grated to decorate

Preparation

In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, Domino® Muscovado Sugar, salt, cinnamon, and ginger. Reservation.
Besides, mix the liquid ingredients: milk, egg, butter and vanilla. Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ones until they are perfectly integrated. Finally, add the grated carrot and walnuts. Reservation.
For icing, in a bowl mix the cream cheese, milk, vanilla and Domino® Muscovado Sugar. Reservation.
In a skillet over low heat, heat the butter, pour a ladle of the hot cakes mixture, cook for 3 minutes and reserve.
Serve the hot cakes hot with the icing, decorate with walnuts and grated carrots.

PRESENTATION

Garnish with walnuts and grated carrots.

TIPS

You can prepare the hot cakes mix a day before to make them faster.

El icing no me quedó igual en la textura, con el batidor ea difícil que se llegue a lo que se ve aquí. Pero quedó rico.

Súper ricos, solo tuve un poco de problemas con la textura del icing... Saldrán como 7-8 HotCakes de muy buen tamaño...
