Preparation
To prepare the top of the cake, known as "streusel", mix the ingredients with an asterisk * (1/3 cup brown sugar, 1/3 cup sugar, 1/3 cup flour, with your fingers) unsalted butter cubes cut into pieces, 1 tbsp cinnamon powder and chopped walnuts). Reserve.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees (180 C.) Grease 2 round molds of 9 inches each. Mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, mix cream with brown sugar and plain sugar, eggs and melted butter. Stir until well blended.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the egg mixture. Mix until smooth and well blended.
Divide the mixture in the cake molds and sprinkle with the streusel mixture of step 1 on each cake.
Place the molds in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes until they are golden brown and a toothpick comes out almost dry. Chill the cakes for 15 minutes before serving.
