This recipe for MOLOTES of Banana Macho is incredibly delicious. Its golden texture on the outside and soft on the inside is irresistibly tempting. Prepare them as a main course or as a side dish to accompany your best dishes at any time of the day.

Ingredients

5 portions
  • 6 cups Water
  • 3 plantain, mature
  • 200 grams Oaxaca cheese, LALA® stripped
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup oil, to fry the molotes
  • 1 container sour cream, LALA®
  • 1 cup tomato
  • 1 teaspoon onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cloves garlic
  • 1 serrano pepper
  • 2 pinches salt

Preparation

Heat the water in a medium pot over high heat, cook the bananas with everything and peel for 15 minutes.
Remove them from the water, peel them and crush them until you get a puree.
Put some flour in your hands, take two tablespoons of banana puree. Stuffed with the Oaxaca cheese, it closes perfectly giving it a molote shape and pass it through flour.
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat, fry the banana molasses until they are brown on the outside for about 5 minutes. Remove and drain the excess oil
Blend the tomato, onion, garlic and chili without liquid, until well ground. Season
Serve the molotes with a spoonful of cream and on this green sauce.

PRESENTATION

You can accompany the molotes with white rice at the base.

TIPS

Do not crush the banana so you can form the molotes.
