Healthy hotcakes with a special touch of a princess. They are made with wholemeal flour which has more fiber, oatmeal and amaranth which also have many health benefits and they are given the color for the little ones with a little dye creating a delicious breakfast full of color and flavor, perfect for the little ones in the house.

Ingredients

10 portions
  • 1 kilo whole wheat flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons amaranth
  • 2 tablespoons oats
  • 1 tablespoon oil, or 30 grams of butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cups beets, grated, or edible vegetable colorants

Preparation

Mix all the solid ingredients in a container.
Add the liquid ingredients and mix until you have a uniform mixture.
Finally, add the beet or some droplets of dye to obtain the desired color.
Now just take a pan, lightly oil, heat and prepare hotcakes with the mixture obtained.

TIPS

You can separate the mixture in several containers to add different colors and get some Rainbow Hotcakes.
