Quinoa with Cinnamon Apples

Start the day with a healthy quinoa dish accompanied by sweet and soft apple squares with a touch of cinnamon and cardamom. In the end you will be surprised by the crispy sensation of the caramelized nut.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 cup quinoa, rinsed
  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • 4 apples, diced
  • 1 raja cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoons cardamom
  • 1 star anise
  • 4 tablespoons caramelized walnut

Preparation

In a pot heat the water, when it boils, add the quinoa, cook over low heat and cover for about 20 minutes; reservation.
Heat the almond milk with the sugar in a pot over medium heat. Add apples, cinnamon, cardamom and star anise. Cook 5 minutes or until apples are soft inside. Cuela and reserve.
Serve the quinoa with the apples and decorate with caramelized nut.

PRESENTATION

Garnish with caramelized nut.

TIPS
