Ingredients

8 portions
  • 2 cups chicken breast, in small cubes
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder, for the chicken
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest, for the chicken
  • 1 cup Hunt's ® Original BBQ Sauce, 620 g
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, for the chicken
  • 4 cups cream cheese, in cubes and at room temperature
  • 1/2 cups red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cups yellow bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cups serrano pepper, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons chives, finely chopped
  • 1 cup bacon, fried diced
  • 1/4 cups cashews, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cups parsley, finely chopped
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • enough Hunt's ® Original BBQ Sauce, 620 g
  • enough canned bell pepper, in strips, to decorate
  • enough crotons, To accompany

Preparation

Mix in a bowl the chicken with the garlic powder, the lemon zest and the Original Hunt's® BBQ Sauce; rest for 10 minutes.
In a pan with hot oil over medium heat, brown the chicken on both sides, cook 10 minutes and set aside.
Soften the cream cheese in a bowl. Add the chicken, onion, peppers, serrano pepper, chives, fried bacon, cashew nut, garlic powder and lemon juice; Season with salt, pepper and Hunt's® Original BBQ Sauce; Mix until fully integrated.
