Preparation
Preheated oven to 180 ° C
Prepare the shortbread dough. Mix flour, sugar, butter, and salt with a mixer, food processor, or clean hands. Separately join the egg yolks with the vanilla and when they are integrated add them to the first mixture and beat until you have a smooth mixture without lumps
On a surface with flour, knead and make a ball. Store in the refrigerator in a resealable bag for about 2 hours.
Keeping the dough cold, serve on a tray with waxed paper. Put another waxed paper on top and flatten with a rolling pin to a thickness of about 4 mm. Put in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 180º C and remove the tray from the fridge. Make each of the pieces using a template and a knife. The pieces must be separated by 1 cm minimum. Use a cookie cutter to make the front window and other pieces you want to have. Break the translucent candy and put it inside what will be windows.
Bake for 10-15 minutes. The time depends on each oven, take out the cookies when the edges turn brown and let cool.
Prepare the bitumen. Beat the yolks until stiff and start adding the icing sugar little by little. Separate and paint using liquid stains of the colors you need.
Using a duya no.2, begin to decorate each of the pieces with the white bitumen. Use the bitumen as cement to stick the candies.
Assemble the house and add finishing touches like snow, a gumdrop path, etc.
