Almond and Chocolate Sponge Cake

If you think that making cakes is very complicated, you have to make this almond cake, it is very simple since you will do it in only 4 steps. Its intense chocolate flavor combined with the crispy almonds will be a bomb of flavors on your palate.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup of wheat flour sifted
  • 1/4 of Cup of cocoa powder
  • 1/2 Cup of sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 90 grams of Margarina Primavera® Salt-Free Cooking (1 bar)
  • 3/4 of Cup of skim milk
  • 1 piece of egg
  • 1/2 Cup of almond fillet and toast

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Place flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder in a blender ; to incorporate.
    Add Margarine Primavera®, milk and egg. Beat at medium speed all the ingredients for 3 to 5 minutes until you get a smooth and fluffy mixture.
    Pour the mixture into a previously greased round mold and sprinkle the toasted almonds.
    Bake for 45 minutes or until a stick comes out clean.
    Let cool, unmold and serve.

    TIPS

    Decorate with fresh fruit and a simple glaze (mixing glass sugar and skim milk).
