Try this mixed almond snack with caramelized popcorn, ideal to enjoy with your favorite movie. Easy and delicious to prepare, keep it in a cool place and enjoy them at any time.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1 cup butter, for the candy
  • 1 1/2 cups raw sugar, for the candy
  • 1/2 cups honey, for the candy
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons vanilla extract, for the candy
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda, for the candy
  • 1 tablespoon Orange zest, for the candy
  • 1 1/2 cups popcorn, natural
  • 1 1/2 cups almond, whole
  • enough vegetal oil, to form the balls

Preparation

In a saucepan over medium heat melt the butter, pour in the sugar and honey, and stir until the caramel begins to bubble. Add the vanilla, the baking soda and the grated sodium zest without stopping to move. Remove from heat.
In a large bowl, place the popcorn, pour the caramel and mix. Add the almonds and finish incorporating. Reservation.
Grease your hands with oil and form balls of the desired size. Place the popcorn on a tray, try not to stick them together, let cool until they harden. Enjoy your favorite movie!

PRESENTATION

Serve on an extended plate.

TIPS

To make the almond and popcorn balls, the mixture must be warm, otherwise you will not be able to manipulate it.
