Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees centigrade and position the rack in the lower third of the oven.
Peel the apples and cut into thin slices.
Place the apples in a deep bowl and mix with the sugar for the filling, the lemon juice, the flour for the filling and the cinnamon.
Place apple mixture in rectangular baking dish and set aside.
In another deep bowl mix the walnut, flour, oats, sugar, cinnamon and salt. With the smanos work the dough and add the butter a little bit.
Cover the apples with the floury batter and bake for 45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown. Remove from oven.
