Ingredients

24 portions
  • 1 chocolate cake, (any recipe)
  • 100 grams couverture chocolate, chopped white
  • 1 jar dulce de leche
  • 250 grams couverture chocolate, dark chopped
  • 1 cup colored dragee
  • food coloring, for chocolate

Preparation

Prepare the cake (cake) according to the instructions, or buy it ready. Remove the edges of the cake and crumble it.
Add the dulce de leche and work the mixture with your hands until it is uniform.
Make balls the size of a grape and arrange them on a tray. Meanwhile, melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler (stir constantly).
Repeat the same procedure with the white chocolate until it is shiny.
To assemble the Colombinas, dip a centimeter of the stick in the dark chocolate and insert the ball: this allows there to be a base so that when bathing them they do not fall.
When the chocolates cool, bathe them completely with the dark chocolate, the food coloring and the colored sprinkles.

PRESENTATION

For the presentation you can put small ribbon bows around the stick that holds the pop cake and they will look very striking.

TIPS

If you want to prepare white chocolates, replace the chocolate cake with a vanilla one and instead of arequipe, use cream cheese.
