Preparation
Break the cake into pieces and mix in a food processor or blender for a few minutes to make crumbs.
Divide the mixture into 12 balls. Place in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to harden.
Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave.
With wooden or plastic sticks, make a hole in each ball, immerse the end of the pal in the melted chocolate and place it back in the hole.
Repeat with the rest of the balls and sticks, let stand for 30 minutes.
Melt the chocolate again, and bathe each cake pop with the chocolate, once the chocolate has hardened a bit but sticky continues to sprinkle with holiday-colored sparks.
To serve.
