  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons liquid vanilla
  • 2 cups carrot, grated
  • walnuts, (optional)
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 190 grams Philadelphia® cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar


In a bowl add flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon, mix well.
In another bowl add the brown sugar yogurt, white sugar and a tablespoon of vanilla, mix until the sugar dissolves.
Add the eggs and flour until obtaining a good consistency.
Add the carrots, mix well.
Add a stick of melted butter to the previous mixture and stir.
Divide the mixture into two round greased cake pans and put them in the oven at 180°C = (356°F) for 30 minutes. Or you can pour the whole mixture in a large pan and when the cake is cold, cut it in half and fill with the cream cheese.
For the frosting, place the cream cheese and the butter in a bowl, beat well until no lumps are left, then add powdered sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla.


Decorate with pecans.
