For the base: in a bowl, mix the vanilla cookies and butter with a spatula until you achieve a firm consistency that doesn't crumble. Grease a cheesecake pan with butter. Add the cookie and butter mixture and press down to a thickness of 1 cm. Let cool and set aside.
