Ingredients

8 portions
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cups cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cups butter, soft
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 cups powdered sugar, for the glaze
  • 250 grams dark chocolate, for the glaze
  • 6 tablespoons butter, for the glaze
  • 6 tablespoons water, for the glaze
  • apricot jam

Preparation

In a bowl combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir at low speed with the blender .
Add milk, butter and vanilla. Beat with a mixer at low speed, then beat 2 minutes at medium speed, add egg and beat 2 more minutes. Put in a round mold of 22 cms. (8 in) in diameter, greased and floured.
Bake at 350ºF for 30 or 35 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool on a rack for 10 minutes. Remove from the mold and let cool completely.
To make the glaze: melt chocolate and butter over low heat, remove from the heat and add the confetioner's sugar and hot water always stirring. If it is necessary to add more water to have the consistency of glaze
Glaze the cake and let it drain from the sides to cover it completely

TIPS

You can also cut the cake in half and place apricot jam in between the halves

Muy buena receta, pero quiero contar que la primera vez que lo hice puse toda la masa en un solo bowl para meterlo al horno pero cuando lo volví hacer y lo puse como tú dijiste en dos me salió perfecto. Nunca dejes de compartir tan buenas recetas. :)

Quedo terrible, no se hornea, se salió del molde y después de 40minutos sigue aguado...

La temperatura está mal, tuve que repetirlo por eso. El sabor muy bueno. Son aprox 210-225 grados
