Ingredients

8 servings
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1/2 Cup of cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons of baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups of milk
  • 1/2 Cup of Butter soft
  • 1 teaspoonful of vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of Salt
  • 3 cups of powder sugar for the glaze
  • 250 grams of dark chocolate for the glaze
  • 6 spoonfuls of Butter for the glaze
  • 6 spoonfuls of Water for the glaze
  • enough of apricot jam

Preparation

In a bowl combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir at low speed with the blender .
Add milk, butter and vanilla. Beat with a mixer at low speed, then beat 2 minutes at medium speed, add egg and beat 2 more minutes. Put in a round mold of 22 cms. (8 in) in diameter, greased and floured.
Bake at 350ºF for 30 or 35 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool on a rack for 10 minutes. Remove from the mold and let cool completely.
To make the glaze: melt chocolate and butter over low heat, remove from the heat and add the confetioner's sugar and hot water always stirring. If it is necessary to add more water to have the consistency of glaze
Glaze the cake and let it drain from the sides to cover it completely

TIPS

You can also cut the cake in half and place apricot jam in between the halves

Puedo hacerlo en molde de 1/4 de plancha? Si es así cuanto tiempo y que temperatura para hornearlo?

Todo muy rico, fácil, me encanto, mi disgusto es que la receta está mal proporcionada, tuve que volver a hacerla y agregar más harina

Lo hice con harina de trigo integral y me quedó muy seco aunque el sabor quedó increíble. Hoy lo vuelvo a intentar con todos sus ingredientes originales a ver si me queda más esponjoso. Excelente receta.
