In a bowl combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix on low speed with the mixer. Add milk, butter, and vanilla. Beat with a mixer on low speed, then beat for 2 minutes on medium speed, add egg and beat for 2 more minutes. Pour into a greased and floured 22 cm round mold.
