A delicious chocolate cake with chocolate decoration with strawberries to delight your guests.


24 portions
  • 200 grams butter
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons liquid vanilla
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 250 grams bittersweet chocolate, for pastry
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 4 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • 400 grams natural yogurt
  • 150 grams bittersweet chocolate, for pastry (filling)
  • 95 grams Double cream cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 300 grams bittersweet chocolate, for pastry (decoration)
  • 100 grams butter
  • 2 tablespoons Strawberry jam
  • 1/2 glasses Water, to time
  • 1/2 kilos strawberry


Oven preheated to 180 ° C.
Grease and flour two 25 cm molds.
Add the butter, add the eggs, the vanilla essence, the sugar and the chocolate previously melted in a water bath.
Sift the flour with the baking powder, salt and cocoa powder and add it to the mixture while stirring and add the yogurt little by little.
Empty the two molds in equal parts.
Bake for approximately 60 minutes in the preheated oven at 180 ° C.
Remove them from the oven and unmold them separately and let them cool.
For the filling, mix the double cream cheese in the blender, the milk little by little until there is a thick consistency and the semi-bitter chocolate for pastry previously melted in a water bath.
Once the cakes are cold, cut both in half and place the filling in the center of both breads with some strawberries cut in half.
Arrange the bread circles and cover everything with the melted chocolate bitumen that is prepared by incorporating the dissolved butter in a bain-marie with the melted chocolate in a water bath.
Once the chocolate hardens a bit, decorate to taste with natural strawberries.
To varnish the strawberries in the decoration, heat the water with the strawberry jam until it boils. Allow to cool and strain. To varnish with this mixture the strawberries of the cake with a brush.
Congratulations !, put out the candles and enjoy it with your favorite drink.


You can change the strawberries for any natural fruit. You can also put nuts or chopped almonds to the pasta. Instead of the suggested filling you can add strawberry or apricot jam.
