Having homemade cake as a dessert will be very simple with this cake recipe with pancake flour. This way of preparing it is very practical, since it does not necessarily require an oven and you can use the pancake flour that you have in the pantry. In addition, the fruits that it contains are easy to find and it only uses icing sugar as decoration. Cover the cake with aluminum if you want it to cook faster. It is very important that you control the temperature, so that it does not burn at the bottom.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 4 cups pancake flour
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cups butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon liquid vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon Orange zest
  • strawberries
  • bananas
  • chocolate chips
  • enough powdered sugar

Preparation

Mix the flour with the milk, the egg, the sugar, the butter, the vanilla and the orange zest; beat until everything is perfectly integrated.
Pour the mixture into a greased mold up to ¾ high and, on top, arrange the strawberry, banana and chocolate chips to decorate the cake.
Place in a pot and add water to cook in a bain-marie, at a low temperature, for 40 minutes. Remove from the fire and let cool; unmold.
Decorate with icing sugar, serve and enjoy.
