Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Separate 6 egg whites from the yolks into different bowls. Beat 6 egg whites until stiff peaks form with an electric mixer (it is very important that they reach stiff peaks before adding the other ingredients); once they are ready, gradually add the sugar while continuing to beat. Beat the 6 egg yolks with a fork and add them to the mixture. Add the flour and milk and beat until you have a smooth mixture.
