Carlota de Limón Traditional

Dessert based on "María" type cookies and sweet lemon cream, very simple to make and with a great flavor. This dessert is very popular and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of evaporated milk
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 can of half cream
  • 1/2 Cup of milk
  • 2 packages of Maria cookie
  • 100 milliliters of lime juice

    Preparation

    In a blender mix evaporated milk, condensed milk and half cream and lemon juice.
    In a refractory place a light base of the lemon cream.
    For the layer of cookies, soak the cookies one by one in milk as they are placed in the refractory.
    Once the layer of cookies is finished, add a layer of lemon cream and so on.
    When finished, cover the refractory with self-adhesive paper or aluminum foil and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.

    PRESENTATION

    You can give an elegant touch and cover the mixture with a bit of lemon zest.

    TIPS

    Soak the cookies in milk, make them blend better with the mixture and absorb the flavor of the lemon cream.
