Ingredients

12 portions
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups oil
  • 3 cups carrot, grated
  • 1 1/2 cups walnut, chopped
  • 2 packages cream cheese, for the bitumen
  • 1 bar butter, at room temperature (for bitumen)
  • 450 grams powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, for bitumen
  • 1/2 cups walnut, chopped (to decorate)

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
Grease and flour 3 round cake molds of 22 cm in diameter.
In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Add the eggs and the oil.
With an electric hand mixer , beat until well blended.
Add the carrot and chopped nuts.
Put the mixture in the 3 cake molds and cook in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
Unmold and let cool before putting the bitumen.
Prepare the bitumen: mix the cream cheese with the butter, the icing sugar and the vanilla extract with an electric mixer .
Put the bitumen over each layer of the cake and around. Garnish with chopped walnuts around or sprinkled on top.

puedo sustituir el azucar por otro indulzante?o sin azucar queda rica Gracias

Hice la receta, disminuí la cantidad de huevos (3 piezas), aceite (1 taza), azúcar (1 taza) y para agregar humedad adicioné una taza de crema ácida (también se puede usar yogurth natural batido o griego). Agregué también uvas pasa (1 taza) a le mezcla a hornear. Para el betún recomiendo 300 g o menos de azúcar glass porque queda demasiado dulce. ¡Quedó deliciosa! El pastel voló.
