A delicious cheesecake with chocolate chips and mint essence. The base of this cake is made with ground chocolate cookies.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. To prepare the base, mix the ground chocolate cookie with the butter. Place the mixture in a removable-bottom round baking dish and press down with your hands to form a chocolate cookie base for the cake. For the filling, in an electric mixer, start by beating the cream cheese until fluffy. Add the sugar, egg, and sour cream. Beat for 3-4 minutes. Finally, add the chocolate chips and mix well. Pour the filling over the cookie base and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 15 minutes before carefully unmolding.
