This Green Tea Ice Cream recipe is very practical, since it is prepared with vanilla base with green tea powder that is an important source of natural antioxidants for the body.

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 2 cups of cream
  • 1 Cup of whole milk
  • 1 teaspoonful of Salt
  • 6 pieces of egg
  • 2/3 of Cup of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of matcha powder for Japanese green tea

    Preparation

    In a pot boil the cream, milk and salt.
    In a deep bowl, mix the eggs, sugar and Matcha. Then add 1 cup of the hot cream mixture beating rapidly.
    Beat the rest of the mixture little by little and return to the pot to cook over low heat for about 5 minutes (do not let it boil and continue beating).
    Immediately put the cast mixture in a metal container or ice cream container and let cool to room temperature. Go to the refrigerator and allow it to cool for 1 hour.
    Freeze the ice cream in an ice cream machine and then move to a storage container.
    The ice cream lasts up to 30 days.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve with mint leaves to decorate.

    TIPS

    The ice cream takes 4 hours to cool, only 30 minutes of active cooking.
