This is the Japanese recipe for preparing a delicious green tea ice cream that contains a lot of antioxidants that help you stay young and in good health.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 200 milliliters milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons matcha, green tea powder
  • 100 milliliters Water, hot
  • 200 milliliters liquid cream, thick, lightly mounted

Preparation

Put the milk in a pot and heat it to the boiling point. Then beat the egg yolks with the sugar.
Put the milk on the egg mixture, stirring constantly, put the mixture back in the pot and stir well.
Heat the cream over low heat, stirring constantly, 3 minutes or until thick enough to coat the back of a spoon. Remove from heat and let cool.
In a bowl, dissolve the tea in hot water, pour it over the cooled cream and stir well. Add the whipped cream.
Put the mixture in the freezer for 2 hours. Take out the mixture and beat it with a fork to break the ice cubes that formed. Return it to the freezer and leave it for 2 more hours. Beat it again, put it in the freezer and leave it overnight or until it has become solid.

PRESENTATION

Accompany the ice cream with a sugary cookie.

TIPS

Add a little honey on top of the ice cream, this will give a very special touch.
