Chocolate Mousse with Red Fruits

The chocolate mousse is a classic French dessert, it is the elegant touch for any lunch or dinner. A very easy recipe to prepare, where chocolate is the protagonist of this preparation. A perfect recipe to pamper your loved ones.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1 1/2 cups bitter chocolate
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cups sugar, plus 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1/4 cups whipping cream
  • 1 cup egg white
  • 1/4 cups red fruit, (strawberries and raspberries)
  • 1 tablespoon Mint leaf

Preparation

Beat the yolks with 50 grams of sugar until they are frothy, add the cream to beat. We beat until the preparation doubles its size.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 15 seconds, and with this, avoid burning the chocolate. Mix from time to time.
Place the egg whites in the clean blender jar and beat until you get a nougat point texture. Add the rest of the sugar little by little, until the meringue is very firm.
Add the mixture of yolks and cream to beat the melted chocolate.
Add the merengue to the previous preparation, looking to incorporate the meringue in an enveloping way, to avoid that the mixture loses volume.
Pour the mixture into a pastry bag and fill the bottle you will use. Add the red fruits and on top of these pour more chocolate. Repeat this process until the bottle is filled.
Refrigerate for 40 minutes or until you serve it.

PRESENTATION

Decorate with red berries and mint leaves.

TIPS

You can substitute strawberries and raspberries for the red fruit that you like the most.
