This pumpkin mousse with walnuts is a very autumnal dessert, since this season is when we can find the pumpkin. This recipe is a very rich option to prepare and enjoy this rich fruit with a spicy flavor and we also have the crispy texture of the nuts. Test it!

Ingredients

10 portions
  • 1 cup milk, cool
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 packages vanilla pudding
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons pumpkin spice, or spice for pumpkin pie
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1 tablespoon margarine, melted
  • 1/2 cups pecan, chopped
  • 1/3 cups brown sugar

Preparation

Pour the milk into a large bowl. Add pumpkin, pudding mix and pumpkin pie spice. Beat the mixture with a rod whisk for 2 minutes until a homogeneous consistency is obtained. (The mixture will get thick.) Immediately add the cover and stir. Using a spoon, fill 8 dessert glasses.
Refrigerate the glasses for 4 hours or until their contents set.
Mix butter, pecans and sugar well. Before serving the dessert, sprinkle with the nut mixture. Save the dessert that comes in the refrigerator.
