Ingredients: 1/2 cups butter, at room temperature (preferably salted); 1 cup sugar; 2 eggs; 1 1/2 cups flour, sifted; 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, (Royal); 2 tablespoons vanilla essence; 1/2 cups cow's milk, or evaporated milk

In a bowl, add ½ cup of butter at room temperature, and add 1 cup of sugar, mixing well without leaving any lumps. Once the sugar and butter are well combined, we will add 1 egg, mix it well to incorporate, and then add the other one, continuing to mix. Once mixed, we add the 2 teaspoons of vanilla and keep mixing.
