Beautiful Christmas Cupcakes

These cupcakes are ideal for these Christmas parties, apart from the fact that their decoration is very cool, their taste is exquisite, I invite you to make them, you will not regret it.

Ingredients

12 portions
  • 120 grams butter, temperate
  • 200 grams refined sugar
  • 180 grams flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 160 milliliters milk
  • 1 tablespoon liquid vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons powdered ginger
  • 150 grams dried fruit, (raisins, walnut, fig) chopped macerated one day before in 1/2 cup of rum
  • fondant, Christmas colors (red, green, white etc).

Preparation

Sift the flour with the baking powder, cinnamon and ginger, stir in a bowl with the sugar.
In another bowl we stir the eggs, milk and vanilla and beat a little with a balloon.
Put the butter to cream in the blender at medium speed for 4min, add the sifted and beat for one more minute, empty the milk, eggs and vanilla mixture until everything is integrated, empty the nuts and stir.
We preheat the oven to 180ºC.
We pour the mixture into a tray for cupcakes with cups. Fill 2/3 of the mold and bake for 25 to 30 min.
When they are ready, let it rest for 5 min on the tray, then remove it and let it cool on a rack.
You can buy the fondant already made or you can prepare it with 100 grams of chocolates melted in a bain-marie, let it warm a little and mix with 250 grams of powdered sugar until it forms a smooth paste.
We divide the fondant into several parts and add gel color according to the tones you want.
Once the cupcake is cold, we go on to put the decoration in fondant (snowman, Christmas tree, etc).

PRESENTATION

They come out 12 cupcakes ideal for these holidays, you can arrange them in a tower as I put them in the photo, or you can keep them in individual cellophane bags with Christmas ribbon, ideal for a Christmas gift in the inns.

TIPS

You can substitute the fondant for whipped cream or cream cheese frosting.
