Is there anyone who doesn’t like cookies? Those little crunchy delights on the outside and soft on the inside that are perfect for dipping in a cold glass of milk. And while all cookies are delicious, there is one that stands out and has become a pop culture icon: the Oreo® cookie!

This famous dessert is known for its chocolate flavor and creamy filling, but its history goes back further, as it was created in 1912, over 110 years ago! In honor of its great taste, we created this giant version, perfect for sharing!

So don’t think twice, heat the oven, prepare your molds, and let your imagination run wild with this giant dessert, it’s irresistible!

Place the Oreo® cookies on a board, remove the filling, and set aside. Then use a food processor to grind the cookie until you obtain a fine flour. Set aside. Use a hand mixer to combine the sugar, eggs, vanilla, butter, and black food coloring in a bowl. Add the crushed Oreo® cookies, flour, baking powder, and cocoa, and mix well until you obtain a dough that does not stick to your hands.

Divide the mixture into 3 for the giant Oreo®. Place 2 of the portions in cake pans lined with parchment paper. Cut the other portion into 8 squares, then cut an x over them to obtain 4 triangles from each piece and set aside. Then, use letter cutters to form the word Oreo® and set aside.

Finally, form a circle the size of the letters to surround the word Oreo® and cut 16 strips of 2 cm long and half a cm thick. Freeze for 30 minutes. Place the word OREO® on top of one of the giant cookies already in the mold, then arrange the oval that surrounds the word and place the cookie triangles to match the original.

Use a knife to make lines from the inside out around the edge of the cookie; these lines should be 2 cm long. Bake both cookies for 40 to 50 minutes. Let the cookies cool, remove from the mold, and place the undecorated cookie on a board. Spread with the filling, and cover with the decorated cookie. Serve the giant dessert on a board and accompany with a glass of milk.
