Preheat an oven to 180° C. In a bowl, mix the brown sugar, flour (previously sifted), baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, and a pinch of salt. Beat and add an egg to the mixture. Then, add the butter (at room temperature) and continue mixing until all the ingredients are incorporated and you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
