For tea time or to enjoy a rich and warm coffee, prepare these delicious sugar and cinnamon balls. Its smooth consistency and delicious taste will conquer you. They are perfect to enjoy in the company of friends and family or if you want to give them away; you just have to bag them with a nice decoration. Try it.


30 portions
  • 500 grams wheat flour
  • 250 grams vegetable shortening
  • 2 tablespoons baking soda
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • enough sugar, to sprinkle
  • enough cinnamon powder, to sprinkle


Beat the butter with a blender until acremar.
Add the yolks and eggs one by one.
Sift the flour with the baking powder plus the sugar, and without stopping mixing add it to the butter mixture, until obtaining a soft and smooth paste.
With your hands form small balls, place them in oven tins.
Bake 10 to 15 minutes and remove from the oven stir in sugar and cinnamon.

Question: How much sugar for the dough? It says how much sugar for the sprinkles, but not for the main recipe. Also how many degrees for the oven. Thanks
