Ingredients

6 portions
  • 100 grams lard
  • 100 grams sugar, white
  • 1 egg
  • 175 grams flour, common

Preparation

Put the lard in a saucepan over low heat and let it cook until it is just a little bit burned and the smell of burnt butter is felt.
Place the sugar in this moment, stir with a wooden spoon, remove from the heat.
When the temperature drops a little, put the egg and mix quickly. Finally add the flour, put in a bag, take to the refrigerator for half an hour. Then take balls the size of a walnut on a plate that should be sprinkled with vegetable oil or with a sealpad so that the cookies do not stick.
Put them scattered and crush them with your hand. Bake at 180 ° C for 15 minutes.

TIPS

If desired, a piece of walnut can be placed on top of each cookie before being taken to the oven.
