During the holiday season, I love to prepare these cookies, whether to put them on the table for coffee time or to give them as a special gift. They are so delicious and easy to prepare that no more is needed to complement a good cup of coffee.

Sift the flour 3 times and mix with the sugar. Add the butter at room temperature and with the tips of your fingers, integrate perfectly until it resembles bread crumbs. Knead gently, adding the chopped walnuts gradually, until a homogeneous dough is formed. Once ready, let it rest for a while. Form balls of your preferred size. Place them on baking trays. Bake at moderate temperature for approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Once baked, they should be left to cool on the trays and then covered with powdered sugar.
