Frozen Yogurt Cake with Strawberry

It is always a good time to make a dessert without an oven and more so when it is an easy one to make, with a mixture of yogurt, strawberry and walnut. Prepare this frozen cake with the little ones in the house and teach them how to make a cold and practical dessert with easy ingredients and a delicious flavor. To make it easy, slice the cake until perfectly cool.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 2 1/2 cups cookie, vanilla for the base
  • 1 cup walnut, cut into small pieces for the base 100 g
  • 1 cup butter, melted for the base 100 g
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence, for the base
  • 2 cups greek yogurt, for the filling 464 g
  • 1 cup whipping cream, for the filling 250 g
  • 1/2 cups strawberry jam, for the filling
  • 1/4 cups condensed milk, for the filling 306 g
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin, for the filling
  • 1 cup strawberry, for the filling
  • 2 cups strawberry, in quarters, to place inside the cake
  • enough strawberry, to decorate
  • enough peppermint, to decorate

Preparation

For the base, place the cookies in a plastic bag and with the help of a rolling pin, crush them. Mix the crushed cookie in a bowl with the walnut, the butter and the vanilla essence, until completely incorporated and obtaining a manageable dough.
In a refractory, place a part of the previous mixture and flatten until you have a flat surface. Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
For the filling, blend the Greek yogurt, with the whipping cream, the strawberry jam, the condensed milk, the vanilla, the strawberries and the hydrated gelatin until obtaining a homogeneous mixture. Reservation.
On the mold with the biscuit base, add a part of the mixture, place sliced strawberries and cool 5 minutes, add the other part of the yogurt mixture little by little until completely covered and place more strawberry slices; refrigerate until the consistency is solid.
Garnish with the leftover cookie base, strawberry, and mint.

PRESENTATION

Garnish with the cookie, strawberry and mint mixture.

TIPS

Chill the cake perfectly for 1 whole day so that it is perfectly firm.
